About Lindsey‘So Far’At UEA formed punk/pop outfit The Clynics who contributed 2 tracks to ”Welcome to Norwich - a fine city.” Along with The Higsons, Capitalist Music and Screen 3 to mention a few.Met Dave Mackie, guitarist with Capitalist Music.Married Dave.Formed Viva Gypsies later Rare with Dave and Simon Welander (Clynics) who tickled Ensign Records’ fancy for a while.Rare almost flew with Polygram – memorable showcase in our front room, for top brass.Went solo and won a Sky-sponsored talent show. “Take all she brings” was the prize.Made 2 babies and wrote lots of new songs.‘Glory Hole’ won the ‘Adfam’ writing competition. It was published in the Guardian in 2002 and read by Martha Kearney at St Brides in December of the same year.Other short stories got some attention and one, Olim evolved into the novel ASO.Wrote the accompanying suite of songs.November 2008 Published ASO.18th November ASO launch and live performance to home crowd in Gerrards Cross.New album out 2009. |
