Hello October.
Almost a year of signings, talks, interviews and workshops . ASO still selling. Next outing will be the album. Putiing final touches to the last tracks. Really hope it will be out before Christmas...but hey...I don't want to get swallowed up in competition with all those 'must have' compilations! New puppy Lola..causing major distraction!

“A powerful first novel”.
Book rating:
Lindsey Mackie is not just a novelist and writer of short stories, she is also a talented musician. Her album ASO was released in a rather unusual manner. It accompanies her first novel ASO, a chilling account of the future. The tracks on ASO reflect themes in ASO. ASO is a mix of jazz, folk and rock. Powerful female vocals

Launch
18th November finally saw the launch of ASO to a supportive crowd of family and friends. A short talk followed by a live performance of the ASO songs and a book signing. It was a fantastic mix of celebration and emotion after so long in the birthing.
Following some local press interest, local Gulf Radio are interviewing on 26th November.
A second official signing is being held from 10 to 12 am on Saturday December 13th at the brilliant and lively local bookshop Gerrards Cross Books, Packhorse Road, Gerrards Cross. (Click on the image below to enlarge)
