Since signing to Right Recordings in June we have not looked back. Photo shoot with celebrated photographer Roger Eaton resulted in fantastic new artwork for the album. Plaques & Tangles and the first single Big Ship will be released on the 19th September. Second project was the filming of the video Big Ship by renowned director Steve Graham (Eurythmics, Chris Rea, Rick Astley and more recently a Peter Green documentary). This took place at a beautiful country house also used as the setting for a Nick Cave single. The grounds and facilities provided Steve with a fantastic backdrop, creating great ambience to interpret the mood of the song. To coincide with the release we are also embarking on a Radio tour. Confirmed dates are:
It’s likely that we will need to recruit more musicians soon as a tour is expected next spring. Currently seeking; Drummer, Bass player, Keyboards player.
Exciting news - we have signed a record deal with Right Recordings - more news to follow!!
We've just completed a new video for Great Wide Open. Check it out on our Video page ... We knew what we wanted to do, but it was a steep learning curve to buy and learn the software, then to achieve the 'fading face' effect over adynamic background. No, we don't have video mixing or green screen technologies, and no, we're not saying how we did it! More videos to come soon ...!
Album is complete and demo copies have been pressed. Now promoting to music industry particularly management. We want to take note of any comments and suggestions before producing a final mix and a fully mastered version for general distribution. New video added to Music page ... 'The Making of Take All She Brings' shows we had some fun along the way!

Listen to Lindsey's vocals featured on "Not Us" by The Curator.
Remixing on Plaques and Tangles tracks turning the heat up to make a real difference.
"Sometime Soon" latest CD by The Curator aka Alistair Murphy is released. Check out "Not Us" for my contribution.
Latest vocalising taken me to new corners of myself for Warrior Queen….didn’t know I could grunt, ululate, primal scream, speak in tongues like that…dog confused! Played the songs to some other trusted ears – very encouraging but may need to be a bit more radical with the mixes Mix, Mix, Re-mix and all the songs constantly jostling for position like unruly kids lining up… Took the voice for an otherly guesting on ‘Sometime Soon’ a track taken from Alistair Murphy’s forthcoming album of the same name. Good to croon to someone else’s tune… I’ve sung at a wedding and played at a funeral….any babies due?
Hard at work designing the album cover which will also become the theme of the website for the album launch...
The first version of the new album has been completed and is out being heard by some discerning ears. Taking stock of the songs and track order for the CD.
